HotelRefund provides a free hotel price tracking service. You choose a destination, a hotel and your dates, and we record the price for that stay over time. No account is required and we do not need your booking details.
Each tracked hotel is checked periodically until its check-in date, and every observed price is stored as part of a public price history. Tracked hotels and their price histories are visible to anyone visiting hotelrefund.net — do not use the service to record information you consider private. Prices are sourced from Agoda for the exact hotel and dates you selected, and reflect the lowest bookable rate visible at the time of each check.
HotelRefund is completely free for all users. We earn a small commission from booking platforms when you rebook through our links. This commission is paid by the booking platform — you pay the same price whether you book through our link or directly.
Booking links on our pages contain affiliate tracking. This does not affect the price you pay. We participate in the affiliate program operated by Agoda. Commission never influences which prices we record or how a tracking is displayed; every recorded price is the rate we actually observed, whether it went up or down.
Parts of the site carry third-party advertising, which together with affiliate commission is what keeps the tracker free. Ads are labelled and are kept visually separate from price data, tracking controls and booking links, so an advertisement is never presented as if it were a rate we recorded or a link we recommend.
We do not control the content of third-party ads and do not endorse the products or services they promote. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. How advertising cookies are used, and how to opt out of personalised advertising, is explained in the privacy policy.
We operate a public MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://hotelrefund.net/mcp, which lets AI assistants search hotels and create or read trackings. It is provided without authentication, as-is and without any availability guarantee; we may change, rate-limit or withdraw it at any time.
Trackings created through the MCP server are public on the same terms as those created on the website, and the acceptable-use rules in section 8 apply equally. Tool responses may contain affiliate booking links, as disclosed in section 4.
Prices shown are observations recorded at a point in time and may differ from the price available when you click through. Hotel prices are dynamic and change at any time. Always confirm the final price on the booking site before paying. We cannot guarantee that a lower price will appear for any given stay, and nothing on this site is a booking, a reservation or a price guarantee.
You may not use automated means to create tracking entries in bulk or otherwise abuse the service. We apply rate limits per visitor and per channel, and may remove entries that appear abusive.
The service is provided free of charge and on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HotelRefund is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for any loss arising from a price that changed, a booking you did or did not make, or a period during which the service was unavailable. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim arising from its use is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using the service at any time — simply stop visiting the site. To request removal of a specific tracking entry, email booking@hotelrefund.net. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
